ibook cannot boot

Command + Option + O + F not work, can not get into fireware. Also, Command + Option + P + R not work. Boot OS9, OSX CD with "C" not work. Only caplock and other keyboard lights work. ;(
Is the fireware problem? Firmware or rom corrupted? Thanks.

What's it do instead of working? Particularly when you try to get into the firmware, but with the others as well...

Hi, I had a similar problem with my ibook 600. if you have one with a Toshiba Hard drive, and it makes a pulsing noise when booting, and the keyboard symptoms r occurin, sorry 2 say, its probably a f*cked hdd. call apple an they will sort it out
