Hello every1!!
I want Internet on my Mac laptop, and it's an old Mac. My other PC's are connected to the Internet through a router and a DSL modem...I have 2 cables, a RJ11 cable and a Serial--Audio cable. (yes, it has a serial connection on one side and a speaker connection on the other...)
Is there any EASY way of connecting my computers with any of those cables???
I don't have any info about my DNS, my DSL company, or nothing like that...
Thanx all!! ;)

Depending on the Model you will require an Ethernet Adaptor, RJ45 is the Network Standard Connection.

Does your router have built-in 4 ports hub. Is the pc connected to the router through the CAT5 cable. If your router does not have buit-in hub then you need to get a hub and hook it up to the RJ45 output port of the router the all the pc and the mac will be hook up to the hub. You will nedd to get PCMCIA to Ethernet adapter for the mac unless the mac has built-in RJ-45 Ethernet port.

Get a PCMCIA Network Card.

Make sure its PCMCIA, Card Bus will not work.

PCMCIA = 16-bit
Card Bus = 32-bit

BUT, Ive looked at some sites, and your apple has no PCMCIA. YOu might want to invest in a serial port network card
