I need someone that can help me with a imac g4 problem. My ex remotely destoryed my os x and now all I get is a black screen that reads some dates and "up-yours" and reads that the command is not available or a black screen that says something about darwin... HELP!!

she might i've deleted some ESSENTIAL system files. Got another mac or a friend's mac?Connect to two macs using a firewire cable, boot up your mac while holding down T key then boot up another mac. You'll be able to see you computer as a disk, use media or an external HDD to back you files up. Disconnect the firewire cable. Turn off your friend's mac and restart your mac then boot up your mac with the install DVD into wipe the hard drive with disc utility and and install OS X. This is how I'd handle that if it happened to me. Good luck.
