I need help setting up a Mac Plus..

Hello every1!! :D OK...I went to the thrift store today and I found a Mac Plus with 4 megs of RAM...I had some luck and found an 800K bootable floppy on my disk box...ok, I booted it and it said it was 6.1.5...but the machine doesnt have a hard drive, so I started looking for something and I found a program called "AppDisk" that makes RAM disks, but it requires system 7...ok, so I went to my PowerMac 7100 and found a sys 7 boot disk, buit then the floppy drive broke!! :@ All I have now is a PC with a 1.44 floppy drive...so is there ANY way that I can read/write to 800K disks on a PC?? Thanx!! ;)

may also try connecting through modem ports or printer ports/geoports, to other power mac., also you may read 800 disk (720), if mac formatted files remain on disk, but older mac may not read back again, and become corrupt, also if you have external scsi drive, may try it as well, :)

OK...this is very weird, I answered to this topic once, got deleted, then answered again, and it got deleted again!! :@ I said that I put some tape on the high-density sensor of the floppy, and then formatted it on the 7100 and it worked on the Plus... But what's going ON??!! why are they deleting my messages??!! :( But thanx!! ;)
Summary: freezing usually means a conflict in protocols (too many, perhaps)in either machine (not just between them) I think if you strip everything dsown to the simplest possible formats you might have more ...
