I have forgotton my password for account.

Please help! About a year ago I set up two accounts, one with all of the power the other with a lot less. And I have now forgotten my password on the more important account and can not go on multiple users with the account I can get on to. Please help me!

OS X? Use the install DVD to reset the admin password...

no DVD..well

this resets OS X to 'believe' it's setting up for the first time to create an admin. After this is done you can change the password for that user.

I looked at your link and it said after the chime hold apple + s-
does it mean shift or s- the letter
