I have exactly the same problem....half my family use mac, the other half PC....have found suggestion that software called Timbuktu (aka Mac NetMeeting) exists - but don't know whether this will allow meetings between Mac and PC

I’ve tried ivisit and this works with Mac and also with PC, the only problem is that ivisit can’t access to NetMeeting servers. So, Mac and PC must communicate through ivisit server.

I´m using IVIST, and this is the most friendly software ever... I have an Imac, and my boyfriend, a PC... we live in diff´rent cities and I searched a lot for a good software.. and now... I FIND!!! Go to the Ivisit site, and download the program! It´s perfect.. you´ll see! Bye!
