i cannot take my cd back from cdrom

I inserted a cd into my g4's cdrom but i cannot take it back, how can i take my cd.

• restart your mac and hold down the mouse button and this will force eject the CD. i suggest this option.
• OR try opening out a paperclip so its straight and then gently insert the paperclip into the small hole on your CD- ROM drives front. do not force it or insert the entire paperclip into the hole.

or trying holding down on "Apple key" "Option Key" "o" key and the "f" all at once from a cold start. it will bring you to a open firmware screen....type in "eject cd",hit return, once it ejects type in "macboot" return
