Have PowerMac want to buy iMac. 1] How do I keep using my current printer, which currently uses "localtalk" to connect to printer. iMac has firewire and usb only. 2] How do I transfer my data to iMac? iMac doesn't have a floopy drive? Thanks.

iMac also has Ethernet. You can use a LocalTalk to Ethernet adapter to connect the printer.
If your old PowerMac has Ethernet, you can use FileSharing to transfer files, using Ethernet.

Someone said I can use a 'USB to serial' cable to have the iMac talk to the printer (which is an Apple Personal Laserwritter 300). Is that good infomation? Will that work also? Thanks.

A Personal LaserWriter 300 won't work on an iMac. See
http://macfixit.com
and do a search for "Personal LaserWriter" for more info.
