How to turn off my screen!

Question may seem dumb, but it isn't!!!

My G4 is connected to a 20" Apple Cinema
screen. This wonderful screen has a touch button
in front. Touching the button once, my system
goes to sleep mode (or wakes up if he is
sleeping); touching it for 3-4 seconds, turns off the
computer.

The question is, if I just want to turn off screen, for
energy saving purposes, while the system is
doing processes, how can I do this? In sleep
mode, he makes nothing, even I cannot connect
to it from another computer on my home network.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance!
