Comment:

I had white MacBook and just bought silver one.
I wanted to transfer everything from old to new computer.

To my great surprise new silver MacBook did not have
FireWire plug, so I had to use earthnet wire.

I got all documents and pictures from old computer but
did not get my usic from iTunes and all my bookmarks.
How do I transfer music and bookmarks to the new
computer?

Thanks

Did you use Migration Assistant at the first start-up of the
new Macbook?

Yes, I did.
Should not music go directly or iTunes or somewhere else?

Thanks

Hmm, it should have brought them over. You can do two
things. Either you can try running the Migration Assistant
again, located in the Utilities folder (it will create a new user, but as your machine is new
you can just delete the original user and use the user profile
that MA creates), or you can manually bring over the files.
