I joined HotPop.com for a while and since then a HotPop logo plus the words "Account Settings" has appeared on my main Toolbar (along with Home, Forward, Back, Stop, etc.) When I click on it, a page opens with the logo on it, so I try dragging that to the trash (won't go). Then I try dragging the logo from the toolbar to the trash (won't go). The account has since been closed due to inactivity. When I go to Customize Toolbar, the logo doesn't show there to delete. Any suggestions, please? Also, how do I access the programs that load on startup as it is loading way too many right now? Thank you!

To access the programs in startup. Go start-run "msconfig". Go to the startup tab and deselect the ones that you dont want starting up. Click apply and your done. You may need to restart. Sorry i dont know how to remove the HotPop.

Pretty much of a novice here myself, but I once had a pop-up on my toolbar from a company I signed up with. Couldn't trash it. Thanks to a friend I got rid of it by holding down the control key, put the curser on the pop-up, held down the mouse until a menu appeared, scrolled down the menu and clicked on delete. Hope this helps.
