Could somebody please tell me how to eject the DVD/CD drives on the G4 Quicksilver without using the keyboard...They have no button!!! I want to install a new drive and a fresh system on the computer and I need to boot from a CD...yet to eject the CDROM Drive the system has to be booted up and I hae to use the button on the keyboard.

This could be a real problem when troubleshooting. There must be another way...could someone please help!!!

Mining tools might help ... or ...

You have two options. You could either start up the machine without the new drive and hold down the eject button, which should spit it out. Or, if you manually open the flap covering the CD drive itself, there ~should~ be a very small hole beside or below the tray. Stick a paperclip into the hole until the drive pops open.

Also, holding the mouse button during startup should eject any disks in the drives.
