How to mount a DOS hard disk into a Mac?

Comment:
I want to move some files from a DOS hard disk into my Mac.
My Mac (G3 400) doesn't have a serial port, and the old PC doesn't have a NIC. I can't cable the machines together to move the files.
I pulled the PC hard disk, and installed in into my Mac IDE bus. Drive Setup recoginizes that the drive is there, but it wants to initialize it. I don't want to erase it; I want my Mac to read the files from it.

I agree with the modem idea. You probably already have one. If you have a zip drive for the PC as well as one on your mac you can do it that way. The Mac will read PC zip disks.
