how to format a floppy disk

One click on your floppy to darken/highlight it. Special Menu (top of screen)-go down to Erase Disk..... Chose the format you want your floppy to be formatted in and then Erase.

WEll on a macintosh.
Select the Floppy Disk. Click on Special Then click on erase. Select the format Dos/Mac/PreDos
ON a WINDOWS 9x PC
Open My computer Insert the disk then right click on the disk then click format then select the size (usually 1.44 mb) then click start (top right ;-))
