Hello guys,

Im a newbie in Mac world :D. I just bought a MAC. On the MAC, I can switch between OS X and 9.

On X, I have to change my network card to Manually setting , 100TX Full Duplex...(You know where Im talking about) and open the terminal, do the ping to the router to make the network adapter work (When I do the ping, the light on the HUB will lit up and I know the adapter working.

The problem is, on 9.2.2 , I cant make the light on the hub lit at all because I cant ping something or do the ifconfig.

So my question is: on 9.2.2. How to do the ping and the tracert without installing any software ? I already change the TCP/IP to active and inactive, remove and install TCP/IP but doesnt help. So do you have any experience how to "activate" the network adapter on OS 9!?

Thank you
