Hi Can anyone help me to create a connection to the interrnet via my dial up telephone line vi an thernet connection. I have installed a router and Lan connection etc and I can file share via my pclaptop and my 2x Imac g3 350 Macs. I just dont know how to set an ethernet connection from my macs as i have to drag out the telephone extension cables everytime even though we are all connected to a router via ethernet cables. I have been able to connect to my internet from the Macs via my laptop modem but then i cant load any webpages through my Macs for some strange reason. If anyone can help i would appreciate it sooooooooo much Thanks for taking time to read my post

Are you asking if you can connect all the computers on your LAN to a single phone connection? I dont think that can be done...a modem needs to directly interact with a serial port, a lan, is in a way, a virtual computer and doesnt have it's own serial output. I'd suggest you connect each computer to it's own modem , and then to a telephone line splitter, that will take several phone lines, and have the one output line go to the wall..
