how i open a toast disc image saved

a friend download a mac game from a pc, he put in a cd and gave it to me, the game came in a toast disk image, and when y try to mount the disk image whith toast the program crash my computer(toast run great, is not the program). the disc image in the disk apear like a txt file. y download to my disk and y change to a image disk and y have the same result. how can i do to mount this image?

how do you changed the "txt" file? you changed the resource and creator? try to mount it with Disk Image Mounter or Disk Copy..... you can find it at www.downloads.com
