Reply: (edit)Hi Janet, I am quite new to the MAC OS but I have found GraphicConverter to be a good paint program. It can open over a hundred types of graphics files, JPEG being one of them. It is available to download from most shareware sites, eg, www.tucows.com Hope this helps Rich

Reply: (edit)Quicktime's 'pictureviewer' app works well for this and many other file types. Quicktime itself will open them too. Also: Any web browser will open JPEG's, and "JPEG view" is a great app for viewing which has a slide-show feature that is pretty useful when thumbing through larger amounts of files.
