how do i change region codes?

for some reason i cannoyt play DVDs in
my new Imac DVD player....I think the
region codes are set wrong....how do i
fixit?

You can only change the code by inserting a DVD from another region, after which it will ask you if you wish to change the code.

You probably have a different problem.
