how can a mac be banned

i have a imac and have been banned by a
server. i have a dynamic ip and i have
tried friends acct. and it has banned them
now. Is it possible that a mac can be
traced by serial number just like a p3?
any help would be appreciated

that's not a Mac problem that's the
problem wz your provider
ask another ip-nmbr
problem does disappear then :-))

ummmm......hello, its dynamic, that means he gets a new IP every time he connects to the internet

Not a specific IP-adress has been banned, sure is an IP-RANGE of your provider is banned now by the other server.
