I have installed The Http hotmail plugin to get hotmail on mail but it just gives me the message "Could not connect to 'my hotmail mail' Bad Login" Please Help Thankyou

Are you aware that now, if using any method other than logging in onto the hotmail site itself, (ie mail checkers, email clints etc.) that you need an eight character password? Your old six character one still works if you just go to hotmail's website, but it wont work with any kind of hotmail checker.. This can certainly cause confusion... The solution is to log onto the hotmail site and change your password to an eight character one (tacking a couple numbers on the end of your old one would probably do it, easy to remember too...) Then use this new one instead in your hotmail checker, and it should work now... Also keep in mind that, depending on the program your using, you may have to enter either just your user ID (generally your log-in name)..or your user ID (log-in name), followed by '@hotmail.com', like you have to do on the hotmail website ..
