I am considering buying my first Mac but have one reservation about reading HTML on the Mac OS. On my windows machine I am able to highlight text using [shift] and [direction arrows] to help me follow along with the text as I read. On the Mac machines that I have used this did not work. Is there a setting that I can change on the Mac OS that would allow me to do this?
I known that this seems trivial, but even on paper I like to read with my hand to help me follow and pace.

Thanks.

If you use a browser like Firefox I believe you can turn such an option on or off in the advanced settings (It's called 'Allow text to be highlighted with the keyboard').
