[color=darkblue] 8) HI i am running a g4, with a cannon LiDe 30 Scanner, with OFFICE FOR MAC.... I open a word doc, and click on the SCAN button in the toolbar, but keep getting a message "LOAD PLUGIN" (I didn't think macs had plug ins??) or check cables.... Havent got a clue, but if you can scan in other pakages then do so to get the image on your system. from here you can import your image through word. insert/picture/from file - select pic. This is a gud alternative until your fix your problem hope i helped
