Hey i always wanted mac, and it seems mac os x costs only £89....and i planning to buy soon as i can...but i would like to know....if that will work for me....i have 1.7Mhz Centrino..with 2Gb RAM, 80 Gb HDD and i have DVD/CD drive..and it comes with 64Mb ATi graphics card...i would like to know which version of mac suitable for me...and how can i double boot with Xp Home...and what kind installation i should be using...please help...thanks

Hi Ak,

I think you're a little confused. To move to Mac means to change your hardware to Mac too.

Although the operating system is kind of cheap it technically can't be loaded onto other systems other than Mac. The OS install disk will recognise that you are attempting to install to a non-mac machine and fail.

Your laptop is good for many other operating just not mac.

Try Ubuntu, Sabayon, Linspire but not Mac as you will just waste your money if you do not have a valid machine to place it onto.
