HI, I have a Mac G4 400 mhz. My graphic card's fan is shot! If I don't get a new one I am going to go crazy! Does anyone know what kind of graphics card I should get for this machine? Some folks told me anything over an ATI Nvidia Radeon 2X AGP is overkill? Whatabout buying Mac products online?
Also, someone gave me a internal hard drive to put in my g4. However, after I installed it my computer would not boot. This was when I was still using os 9. But no software came with the hard drive, either. How do I get this hard drive to work so I can start using it? Thanks again!

The HD probably needs to be formatted before it can be seen by the mac. Start up with the HD plugged in and use Drive Setup to format it.
As for the graphics card it depends on what you want to do with it. Since you are going to replace it and if money isn't an issue than you might look into getting a video card that has capture ability or atleast TV Out capability. It is totally worth it.
ATI seems to be the big third party MAC video guys
I thought I already had tv output? I need tv output too. How can I tell if I have tv output?
And I don't know how to do a Drive Set up for the HD. I guess I will have to look it up. I can also give the HD to the person who gave it to me and ask him to install it.
