Hi,

English is not my native language so I hope to be clear in what I want.
My Problem: I want to be able to connect another HD sometimes to my iMac DV SE. Therefore I've made me a cable with three connectors, 1 for DVD, 2 for HDs. So far the cable is ok, but to be able to connect a second HD I need to disable the CD-ROM as it seems that only connected items at once are possible. So can anyone tell me what the "pin assignment" of the flat-cable is, I mean, which pin(s) of the flat cable is the power-connector? When I know that it should be possible to solder a switch into the cable to be able, to switch the CD-ROM drive off and on, right? Any help would be great. Thanks muchly. :-)

PS: I already have the service-manual, but only in PDF-version, and there are no links to the parts-database incluced. if anyone had a link to that, that might be helpful also...
