When installing the OS 9.1 and launching the DISK FIRST AID under the utilites, it can not see the hard drive, it can only see the CDROM? Also the Drive setup cant see it either. How do I pass this stage of the isntallation of OS 9.1. Funny thing is that, when I user the OS X install - it can detect the hard drive with out any problem.

That's a good one. Drive setup should see a disk regardless of its partition format. Is there anything on the disk? If you can see it in OSX it could be worth initialising it and then trying OS9.
