I have several Mac internal Hard drives and want to know if I can convert them to external ones. I have a Seagate , and two Quantums(3.5 series, Viking II and Fireball EX.

Sure you can. All you need is the appropriate type of external case (ie: for SCSI drives, you need a SCSI case, for IDE drives, you'd need a case for IDE drives).

You can't have external IDE devices on Macs.

You can use them with IDE-to-SCSI converters, but they can't be used as native IDE devices except internally.

Sorry, I should have qualified that. I meant a USB or FireWire enclosure that accepted IDE drives. I apologize for the confusion.
