Yay! I bought my first Mac. I've always used Windows based PC's so looking forward to using OSX. I've used a Mac only once before, as they are not super Common in Australia. I only know of two people who have one.

Anyways, I got a slot loading G3 for $50, Im assuming that since its got OSX 10.3 it must be one of the later ones, either way I'll put in some extra RAM and bump it up around 512MB.

But to my question: Is it a very involved task to make it part of my home network? I have 2 PC's on XP one on Vista and mine on win 7, should this connect to the network and have access to the net and shared files? If I can at least get access to the net thats a good starting point. Thanks.

Got the lil Mac goin. Pretty cool, works fine. I'm eventually going to upgrade the HDD on it and use it for My music and Photos machine. should do the job nicely.
