hi
i'm gonna buy a mac mini soon, and i want to know which ones. i've been looking for reviews of these new intel ones, and i can only find the core duo ones, and almost no core solo ones. also, software that i want to run like my snes emulator and stuff are currently only powerpc, and not universal.
what's so bad about the core solo? is it that slow? are these intel macs slower than the older G4s? will roseta slow down the computer a lot? should i get a G4 to run my software?
sorry, i know i have lots of questions, but this is a relatively large purchase for me, and i'd like to make sure i get the right one.
thx!

Yes, get a G4 to run your software. Why buy an intel to have
it run at G4 speeds in emulation? well, you would be future-
proofing yourself...If short of money get a cheap G4. no doubt about it.

Yeah the intel does seem to be slower on non universal software then on a G4. I would go with the non-intel if your core programs are not universal yet.
