Hi, I will be getting a hand-me-down Mac computer soon and I would like to know of some free security software tools that I can use for OS 9. I would most of all like a firewall. Anti-Virus and Anti-spyware would be excellent, too. I would prefer free software if possible.

Thank you very much.

P.S. please forgive me if I ask a stupid question, I have been a Windows user most of my life, this will be my first Mac.

Macintosh Internet Security Guide?

I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.

You really don't need any of that stuff.

FYI, iCab is about the only web browser that is still being
actively supported for OS 9.
