G5 cpu upgrade?

I'm wondering if it's possible to upgrade my dual 1.8cpu's to dual 2.4 cpu's or better?

There are no processor upgrades for the PowerMac G5. Your best option for increasing speed is buying more memory. I think the G5 can take 16GB maximum.

Depends on the model. Some had socketed G5 CPU's under the heatsinks. You would ahve to search on ebay for the correct CPU to get and even then I have never heard any reports of people getting different CPU's to work. But then again, I'm not too much into anymore.

So your pretty much stuck, not that it's impossible, but it's mostly improbable.
