I got the mac from my sister and replaced the battery - still wont power up - batt lights are all green - tried to reset PMU(little button with arrow on back) - still wont power on. Any Ideas? Vaguely heard about a PMU battery?

There is the battery to power the laptop and then there is the cmos battery inside the laptop.

Try taking out the main battery and then plugging in the power cord. Then try turning on the laptop. Hold the button in for a few seconds if it does not power on instantly.

If nothing happens, you probably have some kind of hardware issue.
