While running some memory intensive applications for biological sequence analysis plus simple text to view a screen shot my G4-450 froze the app, then I realized it froze the print spooler and then we had system crash after restarting the system cannot boot without boot disk (? flashes with OS icon) When I insert boot disk I am asked to initialize my 20 GB HD but I must not do this, I desperately need to recover data, if anyone could offer light where there is darkness-thank you CURSE YOU 9.2 (and 9.1) -Philip
