Reply: (edit)i put a volt meter on the power adapter and i'm getting power from it, but no lights at all turn on when its plugged in and nothing @ all happens when i press the power button or any other key sequences... the laptop has been on my desk pretty much for ever.. i used to travel a bit and used it for that but lately its been in one spot never moved and it stopped responding is it possible that the battery died and needs the battery to turn on???
