Is there anyway to get Fusion PC to work with a cable modem?
I heard that itll work if I got a NIC thats compatable with Windows and MacOS. Which I do have this Kingston that works in Macs and PCs.
So what can I do? I need to use Fusion becuase I dont want to install Windows. just MS-DOS..a Windows Free PC. :-)

That's precisely why i used fusion pc for a bit too- i had a "Windows free" dos pentium with Geos/New Deal Office , and arachne browser, etc , as well as FusionPC too...Unfortunately, no, it never had ethernet support written in to it so is completely unable to access it that way...it's possible it supports appletalk, but how you'd use that in an emulation enviroment to go online i have no idea..in fact i don't think fusion can even access a modem...
I finally stopped using it though because i lost the ability to get online anymore with arachne..for whatever reason it will no longer connect through my highspeed connection (from any computer) ..couple that with the slow, erratic mouse handling in FusionPC, and i decided to end my DOS experiment ( i wasn't able to get geos/newdealoffice on hispeed either..).
I ended up installing Basilisk2 on windows nt instead, and got it online a few times...but frankly, i havent used my PC hardly at all since i installed it, since i do everything on my Macs now...

damnm, I know you can do it via modem if you got a hardware based modem. I dont wanna use BasiliskII because that runs slow unless you got a 300Mhz 192MB+.
aw well, Im gonna snag me a copy of Phapsody for x86 (OSX Beta with Openstep core without aqua interface) looks just like OS9 and was ported to PC and Macintosh :-)

I like BeOS myself, actually..i've already got it on my PC and within the week i'll have it on powermac too (It woulda been sooner but the 4400 i was gonna use for it just died..no picture at all (vram?)
