New Macbook again...
The DVD/CD is a slit in the side of the macbook. It takes in normal size CD/DVD. But I almost got mine mini-dvd stuck in there...
well i DID just get a mini disc stuck in there. what am i supposed to do now?! as well as the mini disc, there is also a full-sized CD stuck in there as well. and the laptop, of course, doesn't detect either of them, so ejecting isn't possible. paper clips don't help, either.
try plugging a mouse into the Macbook and then turn the machine off. As you turn it back on hold down on the left mouse button as it powers on (this is suppose to eject any disc in the drive).
You could also try using the Terminal. Open Terminal and type
drutil tray eject
then hit enter.
With 2 discs you may have a problem though as they may be jammed. If you can hear the drive trying to eject the discs try prying the slot open slightly a little more (and very carefully!) as the disc mechanism tries to do its job. If that still fails you'll need to take the machine to an Apple Authorized repair center so they can dismantle it.
Or if you fell really brave go to ifixit.com and check out their take apart guides for macbooks. This will void your warranty however.
