FTP Problems

Hello I am using Fetch to FTP into some servers, it is logging in ok but not getting any directory listings. It is also putting me in the root folder but showing me no other folders and no files. I also have tried the ftp app in a terminal window and it logs in ok but when i do 'ls' it says unknown command and exits... Help me please!

Sounds like those servers are being funky. See what happens when you FTP to
ftp.apple.com

yeah... apple works... weird, nothing else does. but when i try these ones within ms windows it works but not when i try on osx.. what could be causing this?

Try giving us the server addresses and see if we can get to them.
