Comment: Hi, I have a friend with a mac clone that needs a boot disk. It's a umax 3000 or 3600. Sorry i can't remember exactly. The last os that was on it was 7.6.1. I can't find anywhere to download one. Can someone please help. E-mail or posting a link is great. A 7.5 disk will do.

Reply: (edit)This page has them...for a powermac, you want to be looking for 'Disk Tools 2', but look around there, there are pretty clear descriptions of the disks... http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/bootdisks.html

Reply: (edit)You can download a generic boot disk (floppy) that will work on all Macs from 7.5.5 on down at www.jagshouse.co
