If you have OS X installed, put in your OSX install cd 1, restart your computer holding down on the "C" key, once it boots to the cd, go up to the top of the screen, left hand side and click where it says, "Installer", go down to where it says reset password, then select your MacIntosh HD icon, select the account you want to reset the password for and click on it, type in a new password and then save, it will ask if you want to do another password, just quit it, go back to where it says installer, go down to quit installer, restart your computer...when it boots back up, eject your cd, and away you go!!!

Try holding down command S at the boot right after it makes that song noise thing this should start single usere mode or the UNIX interface you will automaticly log in as root next explore the hard drive your passwords should be stored somewhere try this only if you are confident in your UNIX ablities

I also have the same problem...I am not confident in my UNIX abilities.... If I purchase a new version of the Mac Os can I install it and solve my problem???
