I am trying to setup my email program (outlook express) to change the font color automatically when I reply or forward a message. I can't seem to find the setting to make this happen. Any ideas?

Do not think it can be done "automatically" or
instantly upon Reply.

The simplest way is to go to Outlook's Menu item
"Edit" >> scroll down to "Preferences..."

Click on the "General" tab and put a tick in the
"Always show HTML formatting toolbar in
message composition window"

Then click on the "Compose" tab and under
heading "Messages" change Mail Format from
Plain Text to HTML. Then click OK.

When replying to a message, first write your
response - then highlight it - then click on the
teeny weeny downward arrow to the right of the
"A" with an underline (Text Color tool) - third icon
from the right directly above your reply message
box, and clicking down on its little arrow will
reveal a linear swatch of colours. Let go on the
colour of your choice and your highlighted Reply
message becomes that chosen colour.
