Hi All,
Is there a way to play a movie in Quicktime Player so that it goes out a Firewire port to my camcorder? I am able to do this in Final Cut Pro, but I can’t seem to find a way to do it from Quicktime Player. I would think it would be capable of this.

The free QuickTime Player can hardly do anything any more now that Apple went to free and Pro versions of it. I'm pretty sure even the Pro version can't export DV streams like FCP can. Any particular reason you want to use QTP instead of FCP, since you already *have* FCP?
