need help to retain my files which I served then on mac from widnows on my home network
Now I need to return those files back to windows pc through my home network. Now sometime its working fine but somewhere during transfer looks like network connection breaks.
And these are the messages I get.."the operation cannot be complited one or more required items cannot be found (error code43)".
and I'm not very familia with mac
please help

I had the exact same problem when moving a large number of files, I think it was with 10.2.3, but it might have been 10.2.4. What I ended up doing was zipping up the stuff I wanted to move, and just copying the zip file, which worked fine.

OK. Lemme explain a little something here.
You come asking for help.
I ask a question to clarify the situation.
You don't answer it, and you expect us to psychically divine the exact situation you're in, and you cop an attitude when we don't answer.
Uh-uh. I don't think so. Answer the question, please. What version of OS X are you using?
p

How are you transferring the files? Describe your steps in detail.
There are a number of SMB problems in OS X that can be corrected by workarounds, but I need to know how you're doing it first.

well Guys I'm sorry for not answering that question I'm not trying to make you get into my head like that.
Ok lets get into this..It's version 10.2.1
and the way I do transfer the files is..
I log in to my network name, which I gave it a name as "MTANDAO" means NETWORK in my language Swahili.and I have to do this on MAC computer, because I can't see this MAC on Win PC so I have to use MAC to access network MTANDAO
and after I log on or open this Mtandao then I open the folder on mac which I stored the files I want to send back to Win PC by copying the file and paste on Mtandao folder now.
thats when it sometime work and sometime will give that message I explained above.I hope I am understood

OK, update to 10.2.4 with Software Update for starters. Run Software Update until it doesn't find anything else to update.
If that fixes it, great. If not, there's more to try...
