I have just upgraded both my iBook and iMac to OS 10.2.4. Unfortunately I can no longer contect the two with a cross over ethernet cable. (It worked as advertised with OS 10.2). I get one of two messages: Connection timed out error=36 Or: could not connect address unkown. Both compter names show up when I sellect "connect to" under the Go menu, so I'm not sure whe the address would be unknown. I noticed if I "Get Info" for the hard drive icon there are various owners and permisions options, I tried changing the "group" permision to several variations with no luck. Anybody have an idea of what I can to to connect these two? Like I said, worked before... Thanks Rock
