Actually you probably want that the other
way around. Acrobat is the full featured
version of Reader. Acrobat Reader is the
free standalone tool for viewing pdf files.
Acrobat is the full feature application that
will let you view your pdf files and do a lot
more. You can rearrange, move pages
from one pdf to another, crop, rotate, edit,
mark up, and other things.

The easiest thing to do would be to throw
away Reader...someone obviously went
to the expense to purchase the whole
Acrobat package so you might as well
use it.

Btw...if you have Acrobat you should also
have the Distiller application...this is used
to create pdf files...just in case you didn't
know.

Quite a time ago one of our users had the same problem. There is quite a simple / stupid solution for. One problem: its a long time ago and I'm not sure anymore.

There should be a control panel called File Associations, File Exchange or something like that (its half a year ago since I saw a mac).(it has to be enabled of course) If you change the program there, it will work fine again. Reinstalling your programs won't help.

Let me know if it works or not.
