This is really weird. In Quark 5.0, when I File/
Export a file to PDF, selecting Distiller as my
printer driver, I end up with a PDF that looks
grayscale, but in fact is RGB (I discovered you can
see this by opening the file in Illustrator). Only little
pieces of text are RGB -- the images seem to be
fine.

When I try to create a .ps file separately from the
Print menu, and then distill it separately, I get a file
that looks great on the screen -- but when I print
the PDF, the images don't print.

i'd really like to fix the File/Export problem so I
don't get those RGB files. This is a major problem
when I try to export color separations as PDF.
Any ideas?

Try this one.....
In quark 5 dont export, but save as an EPS...try
distilling that the same way you do a ps and let me
know what happens...

I have had problems with images in pdf's being
hacked in half or partially missing when i print..But
when i print to another printer, it works...Also try
upgrading your ps driver at the adobe website, its
free :) - andre
