My cousin has sent this three times to me and I can't figure out how to open it.When I go to plug ins there are eight. Which one? None of them have this x-msdownload. Do you know where this came from and if I can go to the sight and veiw it?

An EXE file is either a DOS or Windows executable file. It can be run on a PC or it can be run on a Mac by using an emulator such as Virtual

Simply put: A .exe file is an application program (execution file, as stated in the first reply to your post) for a PC. These .exe files that people like to e-mail are almost always 'cutesy' little stupid games or graphic movements. Not worth your time. ALSO: you might do well to realize that all these killer viruses that the PC world is always cowering in fear about are generally spread via e-mail with attached .exe files. You are a Mac owner. Act like one.
