Recently everytime I try to process payments for paypal
through safari or access my gmail...... all graphics show
up as question marks "?" and its all in basic html.........
any advice?

Have you tried Safari -> Reset Safari and see what happens after trying that?

Sounds like images are disabled. Go to Safari -> Preferences,
then go to Appearance and make sure the 'Display images
when the page opens' is checked.
