Having only recently entered this forum and
answering questions - I just thought of one myself
that's been bugging me for half a year now.

Entourage in the MS Office 2001 edition for Mac -
I like it v much. V. flexible and one can specify
many things in its Preferences - bar one auto-
grammatical feature which I can't find a way
around changing:

I like to type the way I like to type - even if I know it
contains spelling mistakes - like saying "wot"
instead of "what" - yet wot I can't get Entourage to
stop doing is auto-Capitalizing each new
sentence - and I often like typing new sentences
starting without a Cap.

Can anyone be so helpful as to point out (if such
an option exists in Entourage) how to tell it not to
automatically drop a Capital letter ever time I start
a new sentence?

viva la freedom!

ta in advance =)

In the Entourage v.X Tools menu, choose the
AutoCorrect option. Under the AutoCorrect tab, you
can turn off first sentence capitalization and the two
letter capitalization. The AutoFormat tab will also
change some annoying stuff.

I knew exactly where it was because it took me a bit
to find it myself. I hate how it capitalized
certain things ... I mean, when I can't write a
sentence beginning with "iMac" without it wanting to
make the i 'I,' there's a problem. Thankfully it can be
turned off.
