I have just installed Microsoft Office Vx. I downloaded the Office X 10.1.4 Update and tried to set up my exchange account. When, in the first screen of adding a new exchange account, I enter my account ID, password and domain I get the following message saying the setup was incomplete: Entourage could not detect the following account settings: - Name - E-mail address - Exchange server - Free / Busy server - Directory server For account information, see your Exchnage administrator. To enter account setting, click configure account manually. I have definitely entered the correct account information and if I try to configure it manually it asks me for the smtp server which it shouldn't be doing if connecting to exchange. Our server is running small business server 2000 (service pack 3) and the exchange server 2000 is also service pack 3. Now, for LDAP on the server I shouldn't have to do anything as 'Active Directory' is there in Exchange. And IMAP4 is enabled when Exchange is installed so I would imagine there is nothing I need to do in respect to this. WebDAV is also automatically installed with Exchange as well. I have checked and the servers are all started. I have also logged onto a windows machine and accessed my account through Outlook so there is nothing wrong with my account. So is there anything else I can do to be able to connect to my Exchange account???
